At 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, EnviroKura traveled to Weld Road to plant 2500 various plants along the dunes. Here is a list of the native species that we were given by DOC to plant:
- Ficinia Spiralis - "Pingao"
- Spinifex Sericeus - "Kowhangatara"
- Muehlenbeckia Complexa - "Wire Vine, Pohuehue"
Even though it rained, everyone had a good time planting and felt that they had done a good deed. Here are some photos from the day's experience.
